The wind wasn’t too strong and the sea was calm!

Yesterday the water was a bit cloudy due to the morning rain, but today it was perfectly clear.

Right now there are lots of pufferfish! As the water temperature rises, we’ll start seeing fish like the striped butterflyfish (Kagokakidai?), the fish with yellow and black vertical stripes.

When the Sea of ​​Japan is covered by a high-pressure system, the sunset looks beautiful all the way down the horizon.

Today was the best day for photos at the popular sunset spot, Chojayashiki Ruins, on Katano Beach! ☺

The water was a bit cloudy that day, but there was plenty of water, so we had a pretty intense canyoning experience ❤ On May 30th, the water level had dropped considerably and the cloudiness had cleared up to some extent.

The weather was nice and sunny, which was great. Well, it’s hard to tell much about the first half of the course whether it rains or shines since it’s in the forest…💦 Today (the 31st) it’s sunny again and it’s starting to feel like summer. The base is at an altitude of about 100m so it’s a little cooler, and it looks like it will rise to the high 20s. In the morning I went to check out Course 2. The water level is just right, and I’ve finished checking the course, including removing driftwood. The course will open next week. We look forward to you joining us on the course. ❤

Beach Cleanup
We’ve been working hard since this winter to build a guesthouse, but it looks like we won’t be able to finish in time, so we’ve decided to postpone it until the off-season for outdoor activities! Therefore, we’re rushing to clean the beach and prepare the canyoning course for Golden Week.

The cherry tree that stood by the waterfall basin finally succumbed to the weight of the ivy and snow,

and broke at the base. It just barely didn’t fall into the waterfall basin, so I cut off the branches and moved the top 3 meters downstream to prevent it from entering. Complete removal will be done after Golden Week. Maybe I’ll cut down a pillar of cherry wood!

For now, the course is open!

We are currently renovating a new base warehouse (garage) in Oshiotsuji-cho in the Minami Kaga area! For now, it is just a base, but we are also considering adding accommodation facilities. Stay tuned!

The tours themselves will begin in early April, with tours of Sea Adventure and Watani Dam Lake in the Minami Kaga area. Canyoning in the Higashi Komatsu area will begin during Golden Week.

I have to do 5times more.

The styrofoam is broken into pieces inside the cave by the waves.

Let’s take a little bit home with us. Volunteer, of course.　This beach faces northwest, so the sunset is beautiful.

Because I love this beach. When the waves are up. I do a beach clean-up. Every time. Every year.
